Melanie studied Veterinary Medicine in New Zealand with the intent to be a Dairy Vet. Lured to the UK by the Foot and Mouth epidemic of 2001 she has since acquired a house, husband and child and her dreams of dairy practice have well and truly faded. Melanie enjoys the nitty gritty of small animal GP life, and when not at work can be found at home being bullied by her cat and knitting.
